"George Burns" formerly known as "Cupid".  This beautiful colt came to us from the Burns/Harney county seizure and has since been adopted to a wonderful home.  We are told that George is extremely smart and picks up on his training quickly.  Look how gorgeous he looks after just 3 months!

"Maverick" came from the Burns/Harney county seizure.  He was lice infested, thin and very depressed.  Maverick went to a loving foster home for recovery but it was soon decided by this family that he would never leave.  Maverick is now healthy, happy and loved.

"Juliette" was also from the Burns/Harney county seizure.  This pony sized mare was feral and afraid.  She was adopted by one of the best horsewomen we have ever met and is doing fantastic.  Juliette has found her forever home in Central Oregon.

"Cloud" is another mare from the Burns/Harney county seizure.  Cloud was adopted along with another mare from the same seizure and is living every horses dream on beautiful pasture with lot's of love and care.

Meet Moony.  Moony was the stall mate of Nickers who is featured on the adoptable horses page.  Moony is 2 1/2 years old but resembles a weanling due to his poor body condition.  Moony had a very thick coat and these pictures are deceiving.  You could feel EVERY bone on Moony's body.  Moony will be permanently stunted as a result of the malnutrition he has suffered.  Moony has also been seen by our veterinarian and he had no medical condition other than starvation.  This is Moony's 2nd time being starved to our knowledge and has now found a permanent home with a wonderful family that will love and care for him forever.

"Polly" also came from the Harney county/Burns seizure.  For those of you that have been following this case, Polly was our young, special needs filly.  We believed there was a possibility that Polly was pregnant and were relieved to learn she was not.  The enlarged belly was from extreme parasite infestation.  Polly has been adopted by her foster family where she will always be loved and cared for.

"Truffles" came to us from a large seizure in Nebraska where 200 horses were saved but many more perished from starvation and neglect.  Truffles blossomed into a beautiful mare and was adopted by a wonderful woman that has committed to caring for and loving Truffles for the rest of her life.

"Mercy" is a 15-year-old mare that came to us near death from the Burns/Harney county seizure.  This special mare has a heart of gold and a will to live.  In just over 3 months, she has gone from being so weak she could barely stand from starvation and neglect to carrying a rider! According to Mercy's foster mom, she has the kindest, gentlest soul and loves to be loved.  Mercy is broke to ride but has never had any extensive training.  She does not buck, rear or have any bad habits.  Mercy will ONLY go to the very best of homes where she will be pampered like the Queen she is in our hearts.  If you think you can give Mercy the future she deserves, please contact us.  If you would like to read the heartwarming blog written by Mercy's foster mom on her road to recover, click here.

Joey is a 19-year-old big, nice, easygoing gelding.  Joey stands about 15.2 and was once used to move cattle on a ranch.  He will take you down the trail with no spook or problems.  He has fantastic ground manners and is up-to-date on worming, shots and foot care.  If you are interested in adopting Joey, please contact us.

"Nickers" is an approximately 21-year-old mare who is recovering from starvation and neglect. We would like to give a special thank you to her foster family that has done a fantastic job with her rehabilitation. She is a very sweet girl and is doing great. Nickers is for light riding only due to her slight sway back. Nickers will also have to be eased into being used as muscles have a tendency to atrophy from starvation and will need time to build up and strengthen again. Nickers is waiting for her forever home.
